At work, it used to have cool magnetic name tags for instrumental teachers.

Now they want to make a change, and have all instructors (even us measly theory teachers) wear this name tag. The change is supposed to cause notices among the students and create power and authority.

But really, to me, it just looks like I'm a volunteer now.

Today was a perfect day of shopping in the morning and a food adventure at night. I went to Off-the-Grid with Lauren and her college roommates for delicious street truck vendor food. Afterwards, we went to Crepevine for hot chocolate and dessert (pictured above).

When I have a plain outfit, a bold-colored scarf or a pattern brightens up the outfits, or amps it up a bit.

A scarf is also good for low cut shirts, it'll be in place where a cleavage would have been shown.

I put a lot of random stuff in here. Taking pictures in my room. I am finally cleaning it because it took me A WEEK to find my keys, which were buried under old Anthropologie catalogs.

At first when I saw this van with a bunch of dry-cleaned dress shirts and slacks I laughed and thought who's so busy that they need to have a bunch of clothes ready, pronto, all the time!

And then I saw a man from a dry-clean business come towards the van with more clothes. I guess it's dry cleaning delivery van.

Another moment where I'm proven not to judge.
